The problem here is that the placeholder will not get replaced before the Wayfinder snippet is evaluated. This is a result of the way the Evolution parser works; it evaluates all tags of a certain type at once (as opposed to Revolution, which is true source order parsing, regardless of which type of tag is evaluated).

The wrapper snippet is your best bet in this situation atm. In Revo this will be much simpler.
