Hi,
Some time ago I mannaged to create a dynamic page like this:
www.sitename.com/car-brand/car-model/mode-type.
www.sitename.com/cadillac/coupe-deville/2.3-turbo
So I don’t have to create all pages for every brand/model manualy. I do this with this snippet-code on the 404 page:
<?php
// Getting the requested URL:
$RequestURL = $_SERVER[’REQUEST_URI’];
if (strpos($RequestURL, "oerautos/") <> 0) {
$occasionURL = str_replace("http://", "", $RequestURL);
$split_url = explode(’/’, $occasionURL);
$occasionbasis = $split_url[1];
$merk = $split_url[2];
$model = $split_url[3];
$occasion = $split_url[5];
if ($occasion != "") {
$occasionDocID = 30;
}
$modx->sendForward($occasionDocID);
}
?>
This works great.. but there is 1 but...
The page title is not dynamic.
The title displayed is the title of the document the visitor is being send forward to.
How can i also make the pagename dynamic? Ofcourse I can use javascript, but this new page-title created with javascript will not be noticed by Google and others....
thanx for the help...
Marc.
Has nobody any idea how to do this?
