    Hi All,

Trying to set friendly url’s up on a site ( done it on about 80 others with no problems ) however it doesnt seem to be working for some strange reason.

I have the fololowing at the bottom of the .htaccess file
    Redirect 301 /hydrospa.html http://www.mysite.co.uk/hydro-spa.html

But when i goto /hydrospa.html it is re-directing me to the following
    http://www.mysite.co.uk/hydro-spa.htm?q=hydrospa.html

so for some reason it is adding ?q=hydrospa.html to the end of the url.

Does anyone know how to resolve this as it’s driving me mad huh

    Cheers

Try adding your specific re-write rule immediately following
        RewriteEngine On
        RewriteBase /

Then it gets dealt with before the FURL’s happen.

Hadn’t really looked at your rule closely.
            I use this format :
            RewriteRule ^hydrospa(.*) http://www.mysite.co.uk/hydro-spa.html [R=301,L,NC]

            Don’t know if that’ll help.
