Think I’ve solved my problems.

$path1 = $modx->config[’base_path’];
$array = explode(’, ’,$options);
foreach ($array as $values) {
$path2 = $values;
$path = $path1 . $path2;
if (is_file($path)) {
include($path);
}
}
return;
?>
is_file seems a rather nice way of detecting possible problems with the target file.
