Custom page preview

I am using the content history plugin and want to try and build a preview of each revision so that a user can see what the old version will look like in the template. Is there something in the API that will allow me to pass through data to create a preview.

Ah this would be really useful anyway. At the moment the Preview is a little pointless because you have to save the page first before you can preview it so you cant test your edits on a live document without first making the edits live, doh!

I’ve had a look in the past and couldnt find any way of modifying the content before its processed by the parser
