    Dear sirs,

I need to create a multiuser / group website (something like multilevel users - ACL):

    The groups :
    - mainoffice : admin
    - mainoffice : staff
    - Branch : admin
    - Branch : staff
    - SubBranch : admin
    - SubBranch : staff
    - special groups
    - public users

    a) public users (world) just can read some news [R] in frontend

    b) special groups can read some news + special news [R] (may in frontend or backend)

    c) Subbranch staff group just can read, modify, create [R,M,C] only their own
    news in their Subbranch

    d) Subbranch admin can publish it [P,R,M,C] also only for their own
    Subbranch

    e) Branch staff group can read, modify, create [R,M,C] all of their Subbranchs data
    only

    f) Branch admin group can publish all data of their Subbranchs [R,M,C,P]

    g) mainoffice staff can read, modify, create [R,M,C] all data in Branch &
    Subbranch

    h) mainoffice admin can publish all of data [P,R,M,C] in the Subbranch &
    Branch.

Can modx do like what I need ?

    Thank you very much.

    Best Regards,

modx has groups and users, but frontend and backend have both their own list of users.

You can put a user in a group to give him the rights you attached to that group. That way you can hide documents in the backend for users which may not edit these documents.

        Thanks a lot Mediaguy,

Another question. Can it also support multi language content (like Joomfish in Joomla) ?

        Thanks.

          Yes it can!

There are multiple ways which can be found on the forum and there is a wiki page about it at http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Make_Multi_Lingual_Site

            Dear MediaGuy,

Many thanks for your help, very quick and clear ... smiley
Sorry to ask you again .. and again ... I’m new to Modx.
I usually use Joomla + Joomfish + FckEditor. But Joomla has no features of Multilevel user/group.
Normally I use FCKeditor in Joomla. Can we also use FckEditor for EACH GROUP (with Multilanguage contents support ....) ??

            Thanks.

            Best Regards,

No problem at all! Hope you like modx smiley

You can install FCKeditor (http://modxcms.com/FCKEditor-583.html) and set it as the standard editor in the manager.
                with regards,
