    Hi,

I don´t know much about modx, but I was asked to look after a website based on modx , because there are always the nuber 1216 after the tld.
I looked in the source code and I think its caused by this line: <base href="http://www.the-domain.com:1216/cms/" />
So I looked in the template and found this <base href="[(site_url)]" />.

So where can I change the value of [(site_url)]

    thanks in advance
    nico

That’s automatically calculated based on how you access your website. Would be more dependent on your webserver configuration.

:1216 is a port number and it appears your site is running on a non-standard port.

Thanks a lot for your fast response.

Ok, I changed <base href="[(site_url)]" /> to <base href="http://www.the-domain.com/cms/" /> and it works no 1216 nuber in the url anymore.
But do I have to expect some sideefects?

Or when it is a hosting Problem what can I ask my Provider to do?
