Fatal Error. Change in the backend Manager (TOOLS) the UFT8 in UFT7

Hi, i need you help...

I change in the backend, "TOOLS" the Unicode from UFT8 to UFT7. That was a big error from me...

Now the manager (Backend) dosen’t works, i can’t change my mistake... >:(
I see only the popup "Please wait, modx loading the site". I can’t change the navigation to the Tool Section and move the settings back...



So the question is: It’s possible to change this setting without the manager to UFT8 or must the modx new installed?

Please help me...

There’s a column in the system_settings table named modx_charset, on my dev system(s) this is set to ’UTF-8’, have a look at your setting for this field in the DB, I suspect yours is now UTF_7 or something, you could update this back to ’UTF-8’ and see if that fixes your prob. It may be more complicated than this, its not something I’ve done before but its worth looking at before you try a re-install. As ever please make sure your database is backed up in case of any disaster here.
