By default, it looks like my folders are "755" is that optimal from a security perspective? Can I tighten up any folders?

Thank you for the links, I read through them and also the wiki, but it all mainly pertained to suPHP.
Is there a general security guide. E.G. what .htaccess edits, specific folder permissions, etc that can help to secure your site.
