[*longtitle*] auto-generate tags

Example, Test[*longtitle*]Test

will output like this Test[*longtitle*]<p>Test

I’m trying to get rid of the <p> tag !!!

Is this typed in via the content field in a document and with the WYSIWYG editor on?

That is typed inside a template

Maybe a plugin going wild? Do you have any html in the logtitle field?

So im taking none of you guys get the same effect? No html in longtitle, just plain text

Okay when i have the [*longtitle*] inside a span class it makes the space, else it dosent. And this is even if my span has no CSS, hmm im gonna try mess around with it

AH so problem has something to do with including chunks inside templates, i made 2 templates and inserted my chunk content, at it shows perfectly. A little annoying though, would rather have used chunks ;-)

It should not be doing this. Can you provide a link to a page where it is actually doing this, and also post the template itself, as well as the chunk? Do you have the Rich Text option turned on for editing chunks? This very much looks like an overly "helpful" Rich Text editor.
