I’m having difficulty displaying form fields in the subject line of an eForm email.

I’ve followed the instructions, plus the form fields display fine in the body of the same email.

    [!eForm2db_checkout!]
    [!checkRequiredFields!]
    [[validateEFormDate]]
    [!eForm? &eFormOnValidate=`reqFields` &protectSubmit=`1` &eFormOnBeforeMailSent=`checkout2db` &formid=`payment_form` &to=`[email protected]` &fromname=`XXXX` &subject=` Order Confirmation for [.name.], #[.client-order-number.]` &jScript=`autofill_js` &automessage=`order_confirmation` &tpl=`payment_form` &report=`checkout_report` &from=`[email protected]` &gotoid=`32` &sendAsHtml=`1`!]
      Mostly harmless.

Yeah, I’d tried that too without luck.

        Running PHP 5.2.8

It’s an old thread and been answered before but I recently came up against it. The problem is usually PHx is being used too so you need to use ((fieldname)) instead.
