Previewing an Offline Site

Hi
I’m developing a Site that’s currently Offline, but I want the client to review it.
For that purpose I’ve created a Role called "Reviewer" with limited right, so he can not delete anything by accident.
But I’m also interested that my client doesn’t have to login himself via Manager (/manager) but just from the Offline page or a hidden page specially set for that purpose, it’s there some Snippet or already prepared page design to accomplish this task?

Does your hosting let you restrict access by user authentication on the server? Then you just need to set yourself and your client up with a username and password, and you can develop the site in privacy without creating restrictions in MODx that you’ll later have to remove.
