I’ve done a search of the forums, but can’t find anything like a stockist locator.

I have a site that has a map (image) of the Netherlands. what I want to do make it so that the map is divdied into clickable regions. I presume i’d need some image map for this I guess.

The main issue that once a particular region is clicked it needs to link through to google map highlighting all of our stockists.

Is this possible at all in Modx? Is is easy enough to do?

I have done this kind of thing using amMap:
      http://www.morisoninternational.com/members/

Luckily there is a Netherlands regional map available:
      http://www.ammap.com/examples/countries/netherlands

To output the points on the map is quite straightforward if you have your stores as individual documents; essentially you can write a snippet to run Ditto, iterate through the result and output the XML that amMap needs to plot the point (quite possibly you could do this without a custom snippet). My points link through to a profile page that includes a Google map (using the GoogleMap snippet).
Snippets: GoogleMap | FileDetails | Related Plugin: SSL

That looks great, unfortunately there is now way my company will pay for the licence and free version with the link would be out of the question undecided
