I have an about us page with some introtext I would like to show on the homepage’s footer, or in the sidebar (like many blogs have).
How do I grab the introtext of my about us page (ID:11) and put it anywhere in my template?
Many thanks

There could be an easier way but the GetField snippet comes to mind....

&package=173
Syntax should be something like....
[[GetField? &docid=`11` &field=`introtext`]]
Where 11 is the id of the document whose introtext you want. For multi-use, you would probably want to place the code in a chunk which you can then call multiple times from anywhere. Hope this helps.
