From a purely newbie standpoint, it seems that every new snippet I install comes with a different Ajax flavor and this makes it harder to get Ajax to work across the board in MODX.
They’re either different jQuery versions or some other Ajax framework or it’s MODx native MooTools.
Even when I stick to snippets w/ jQuery, to consolidate and minimize compatibility issues, getting Ajax to function properly can be a headache.
So I’m asking what’s the best Ajax solution people have found? What frameworks, versions and Ajax enabled snippets are tried and tested?
The following are the Ajax installs I use regurlaly: AnythingRating, AjaxSearch, MaxiGallery and Thickbox.
