Change XML feed encoding

Ive created a feed with modx but cant find how to change the encoding string of the feed??

I want use this....
<rss version="2.0" xmlns:media="http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/" >

But is currently defaulting to this
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="" ?>


Cant figure how to change this.

Any assistance apreciated

You’ve done this with Ditto presumably in which case the RSS template it uses is in the file \assets\snippets\ditto\formats\rss.format.inc.php, the $rss_header variable(line 111 on my install) seems to hard wire this, you could just change this as you wish. You may be able to this another way in Ditto, please consult the Ditto docs, its a well used/documented add-on and pretty configurable.
