This is the line of code im using in my mRSS feed for thumbnail.

    <media:thumbnail url="[(site_url)][+vidThumb+]" width="130" height:"96" /></media:thumbnail>

But this is producing a URL like url="http://phangan.tv/<img src="assets/images/videoThumbs/KohPhanganIntro/thumb.jpg" />"

Because my thumbnail TV is using the image widget. Or is input type image.

How can I produce just the site URL plus vidThumb location without greatly changing my TV setup???

    Any help appreciated...

You have to change the output of your tv to text, the image widget is creating the <image> tag around your chosen image wink

Im Looking for a better solution than that.

The thumbnail is actually an image so when the user adds it to a post, it works well as an image element.

To change it to a text template variable may work with the feed but will mess up the way the CMS is supposed to work sad

Wonder if there is a more elegant solution.

Just add another Template Variable which includes the value of the original TV and output it as image wink
You can hide the new TV with ManagerManager so that the client can’t break it.
