[solved] I got the Dead Modal Inline Ajax # Links Blues...

In short, Ajax doesn’t work in my MODx site.

I’ve been trying a few Ajax inline effects using empty anchor links, but my pages got redirected to the index. Figured out the anchor thing with <a href="[~[put page id here]~]#anchor">Anchor</a>, but still can’t get js to function. Tried a number of jQuery MooTools effects to no avail.

I’m using MooTools Fx.Slide use "#" links

This is the MODx doc (it adds a trailing # to the URL)
http://alazao.com.br/mod/moo.html#

This is the functioning MooTools demo (no trailing #)

BTW I’m using AjaxSearch (without Ajax) and swfObject, but my js fiddling ruined swfObject...

Both are working for me FF3 & Safari4 on a Mac
EDIT Are you logged into the Manager with Quick Edit running?

FF3 WinXP Sp2 - too

You could try removing (or adding?): <base href="[(site_url)]" ></base> from the head of page that has the # anchors. I know that the base tag affects how anchors function.

would this help? -> http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,35352.msg213920.html#msg213920

Yup, I was logged into the Manager w/ QE. Is this it? Oh, man!

Seems I’ll be singing the "Major Monday Embarassment Blues" all day long...

Thanks guys, for taking the time
