I have a site design with header, content and footer.

In the header is webloginPE nested inside a "dropdown div" (works with javascript).
Problem is the "dropdown div" drops over the content, therefor the div has z-index: 100; while the content has z-index: -100;.

It works great with my "dropdown div", it pops beautifully over my content...
EXCEPT all snippet inside the content div can’t be clicked on? It displays my news etc. but links and text can’t be clicked on? If i remove the z-index from content it works again.

huh anyone can tell my why z-index corrupts my snippets?

    Thanks!

I don’t think you can have a negative z-index with consistent results. This is a CSS problem, not a snippet problem:

Okay thanks ill look at my css code again=)

        Edit:

The reason my snippets aren’t click-able is because i need to position my "content" in order to make z-index work in IE. If there is no position on content, my snippets work and z-index work in FF.... just not in IE sad

Edit: It seems i have come across an well know IE bug! dammit.
