Heh for sure.
The other layer that has value is being able to have multiple versions of the underlying document available. And there are other ways to manage this too - symlinks for example.
In actual fact I don’t *need* this solution for my current projects, I am just trying to find a consistent way to approach these types of things that scale well to different types of site.
