I’ve got a website where I’m trying to use the http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Accordion_menu_with_Wayfinder
but if I’m logged in with the manager it will break the code and it won’t work until I log out. It seems like the accordion is using mootools and not actually using scriptaculus like it suggests. Either that or the function calls are the same and they’re overlapping.

Anyone have a clue how to fix this?

Also I’m not very familiar with MODx but I have noticed it seems to load in a way that you can see the accordion expanded and then a fraction of a second later it closes. Probably the order of loading, not sure how to fix this since I’m new, but I’ll figure it out. If someone knows and can guide me that would save a lot of time.

ADDED: Also, the accordion menu doesn’t support removing the ’home’ menu option.

working with modx you’ll have lots of time issues with conflicting js libraries because of QuickEdit, such as with Maxigallery and mootools stuff and also with jquery.
when working on modx I practice the use of 2 browsers, with one I’m logged into the manager to do my edits and the other browser I view my changes while I’m logged out. works for me.

Yeah that’s what I’ll have to do.
It also appears that the accordion script doesn’t really work as it should. I think I’ll either rewrite it or use my jQuery one.
