Hi,
I don’t really know how to describe what I want to achieve, that’s probably why my searches on the forum and ModX site haven’t been too useful so far.
I know how to display the list of children documents on their parent page with WayFinder, but I’d like to give users the possibility to sort out those documents according to various criteria.
For instance, I have included a "category" TV in a number of documents in order to customize the color of each <li> item displayed on their parent page, depending on their category. I intend to add more TVs to further categorize those pages.
So, I’d like to be able to have like a drop down list (or several), containing all the options of a specific TV, which would allow users to display only the documents related to the option(s) selected.
I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this on other ModX-powered websites, so I’d be really grateful if someone could please tell me how this is done. Because as long as I don’t know how to implement this, I can’t really carry on designing my website.
I apologize if my request is stupid, but I’ve been searching and testing al kinds of things for weeks (including TV widgets, but I can’t get round to understanding how they work)...
Anyway, thanks in advance!
Bump! The slightest clue as to what’s possible would be really helpful.
Please and thanks.
