Modx and web traffic

Looking at possibly switching our current website from Joomla to Modx.

Has anyone used Modx on a website that gets upwards of:
5113 Visits / Day across 300 pages or so.

Does it handle the load easily?

We get 8,000 visitors with 25,000 page views per day at crickweb using MODx with no problems.

Server dependent of course, but you’ll have no issues with that load. We’ve built a site that handled millions of pageviews during it’s peak period. Granted it was balanced across multiple machines but it didn’t have much of a problem.
