I am also having the exact same problem (except for moving servers, that didn’t happen, I believe). Did this problem ever get resolved or does anyone have a solution to this?

I never got a reply! I had to reinstall and setup the entire site because of this! And as it happens, this morning I’m having the exact same problem with another site! I would really like to find out how to solve this without having to go through "reinstalling" the content!

Can it be a host related problem?

or did you edit some files and some special characters were inserted into the code?

Take a look at your manager/includes/config.inc.php file. Make sure there is nothing at all above or before the <?php at the top. IOW, make sure the ’<’ is the very first character in the file. While you’re there, make sure there’s nothing after the ?> at the end of the file.

config.inc.php is "include"d by index.php and if there is any blank space there, the browser interprets it as something to be output. Later, when the headers show up, you get an error message that basically says "Wait a minute, you can’t send headers now, I’ve already started producing output."
