a variable for the alias?

New Modx user.

I have a page that has a more complex structure displaying data under tabs that are wrapped in separate DIVs. Can a template have more than one Content variable? If so, I could have staff edit the text for each DIV separately. Or is there another way to handle this without exposing non html staff to the code. The tabs don’t change and I need staff to easily make edits to each tab’s content independently, hopefully using QuickEdit mode.

I don’t understand the title, but you can add TV’s - e.g.
<div>
[*content2*]
</div>
<div>
[*content3*]
</div>
etc...
and have each one editable through QuickEdit.

Your right, I had 2 questions and ask the wrong one for the subject I used. Good to know multiple content variables can be used I’ll try that. Regarding the Alias, is there a way way to have staff who are using Quickedit, enter the alias name or would they have to be in Manager?
