Newbie: General modx question - site migration.

Hello guys!

I own this site: www.szczyrk.info.pl. I would like to kindly ask you if it is possible to migrate this site to modx. I got new design so don’t focus
on look but rather on functionality.

This is site about city and some clients like people owning hotels can advertise. I would like to give them possibility to edit their subpages.

So my questions are:

1) Is it possible to list objects from database like here: http://www.szczyrk.info.pl/hotele with pagination?
2) Is it possible to give client option to edit his/her content (like here: http://www.szczyrk.info.pl/index.php?id=skalite1) using MODx? (of course using user permissions to access to specific content e.g only one subpage, others are not visible)

Thank you in advance! I’d like to switch some sites to MODx but I don’t know if all would work. All this sites I coded myself so I got some knowledge.

First learn basics: http://svn.modxcms.com/docs/display/MODx096/Home

You can then use ditto (comes with MODx). http://ditto.modxcms.com
And use a AWESOME split pagination like this: http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,34522.msg210035.html#msg210035

Client Front-End Editing... See

For back-end editing this is nice info --> http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php?topic=26991.0
