Hello,
I’m using FURL without problem but I’m getting a duplicate URL that I’d like to get rid of. I don’t want to set an alias for document 1, I simply need something like "www.test.com". However if I leave the alias field empty, MODx FURL generates "www.test.com/1.html"
How can I prevent this since "www.test.com/1.html" and "www.test.com" would be seen as duplicates by the search engines?
Thanks

Though for me the alias is generated by pagetitle, are this from newspublisher or any snippet?
Set Automatically generate alias: Yes in tools config
Alias are generated automatically in the tools config. The problem is that when there is no alias defined, FURL generates a default one by using the document id (ie: 10.html). I’d like to override that behaviour for document 1 only.
Thanks for the reply
May be plugin «SEO Strict URLs» helps you.
