    Hi,

I’m a graphic designer and rather new to this stuff wink
So I recently installed modx for the first time, great! But browsing through the demofiles and the printed guide, one thing I can’t seem to figure out is: where is the ’Content’ tab in the top navigation bar?

My tabs are: Site, Resources, Modules, Security, Tools, Reports.
Do I first have to make a new user to see a complete nav-bar?

    Thanx!

      There is no Content tab.
Click (to view) or right click (to edit, move, delete etc) any of the ’content’ in the document tree in the left pane.

So in the screen shot in above link an older version was used?
To create a folder: make document that is a container?

Yes, that’s a pretty old version. And you are correct, a "container" is simply a document that is marked as such, or that has children. As soon as you assign a document to be another document’s "parent", then the "parent" document automatically becomes marked as a "container". It’s just a field in the site_content database (isparent) that is either 0 or 1.
