I’d like to be able to edit my css file from within Modx. Is this possible?
It would be easier and quicker than uploading via ftp a new css all the time.
Thanks

Sure, just go to Resources -> Manage Files and browse to your css file. If you have trouble, you may need to set the file path correctly in Tools -> Configuration -> File Manager.
But remember, when you edit the css file on your computer and upload via ftp, you always have a backup of that file. If you screw up things in the css file via modx backend there’s no return.
I think, thererfor I am! But what I am, and why...?
And if you’re getting security paranoid, then you might have the file set to unwritable, so I’m still going to have to login via the backdoor.
PS I always make a copy of anything on the live site before I upload a new file, but thanks for the reminder Sylvaticus, it’s always good to be reminded.

Just when I was about to link to the CSS as document method... I use it extensively and I have been pretty happy with the flexibility it provides, but I don’t need to explain since you all know how chunks can be valuable in a HTML page, same goes for CSS
