I want to create a Template variable that spits out a chunk in to a template.
So on a page by page basis you can input the chunk in to the TV.
Im trying this by creating a text TV, and then inputing {{chunk}}
But it is not working.
Suggestions?
Are your chunk named chunk? Are your chunk’s content empty?
Hi,
Thanks for your response.
My chunks are navigation menus.
The sites structure is deep and complex. So im trying to figure out.....How can i avoid creating Templates for hundreds of pages, and instead specify at the document level which navigation to spit out.
I figure template variable.
So each document has a template variable called [*navChunk*]. which I add to the template.
Then On the document i want to add {{navAboutUs}}
But it is not working.
How should I config the TV? a text TV?
Stuart
Text tv works fine, just have the snippet call (wayfinder?) in chunk "cached" [[ ]] - if page is NOT checked cacheable.
Be sure to use right letter case and spell the names correct. Be sure that the tv works by typing in text and check, be sure
the chunk work by typing in text in it as well...
Tv’s and chunks are great for doing what you want!

Thanks for the support.
This worked fine. Great article and solution in the wiki also.
