I have written PHP scripts for a custom feature in a website. Now I need a couple of admin pages for that. I would like to integrate my admin part into the MODx admin area to avoid multiple admin interfaces and logins (more custom code will follow).
Is it difficult to add custom PHP code to the MODx admin area or very similar to web pages? I am talking about snippets that call external files (the only way I know yet).
As you see I am new to MODx, do neither really understand the Module system nor do I know the terminology propely. Currently I am happy that I could get the custom functions running. If you tell me that I should deal with this kind of integration later I will wait until I know more of MODx.
