Basically, Google doesn’t care that rewrite is being used, ergo what you produce in modx should be just fine.

The guidelines for Google used to say specifically that a parameter ’id’ was NOT OK, so the standard MODx way of handling the pages index.php?id=10 was a potential issue.
This is why many, including me, used FURL’s to alter it to index.php?q=10 or similar.
Turns out this restriction has gone, and I can specifically see sites well indexed using id= so really you don’t need to use FURL’s any more just to sidestep that issue.
