    Once again I’m too quick, the previous fix only removed the bug from updating pages (!?). If i browse from page to page the menu still expands for a split second. I have tried messing with the stylesheet, and in the end i just deleted every tag systematically and updated the page to see if problem got fixed. No luck there, so now I’m beginning to think outside my css... perhaps a solution can be found in superfish.js? Just my thoughts.. I’ll keep trying.. =)

        I have Vista, so i tried on my other machine with XP SP2, and its the same as on vista in my case. I have add’ed some extra menu items, so perhaps the menu is "heavier" to load now and therefor it shows for a split second? Problem could be connection wise?

          js, css & images should be cached, so i don’t think it’s connection related

            Well it has definitely not anything to do with style.css, menu.js or hoverintent.js - which leaves superfish.js and jquery.js

            When i delete the files above the problem still remains, except for superfish.js and query.js where the menu will simply stay expanded at all time.

                  good to hear you found a solution smiley quite often it is just trial & error, and a certain amount of suspicion hunting down the relevant part in the css (at least for me)

                  jan

                  You where right. Re-did the css with our fixes included, and now it works!!!!!!!!!!

                  I think that having deleted "top: -999em;" might have been the issue, but i don’t have time to confirm it right now... anyways, i feel stupid smiley

                    Heeya, Jan you still around? I just tumbled into a new thing laugh so of course i come back here wining about it !!!

                    I installed a SMF brdige(forum) to my modx, but unfortunately the forum uses some of the same tags as my menu, so the two snippets can’t be on same page. In my wayfinder menu i target "general" things like nav, ul, li, a etc. as do the smf forum!

                    Is there a way to give these tags id’s in my wayfinder menu so the css only apply to my menu?

                    Thaaanks  grin

                      Hi,
                      you still around?
                      sure wink

                      then you need to specify your css for those lists, like div#menu ul li {...} & maybe div#menu_forum ul li {...}

                      hope that helps, jan
