    Hello,

We can create documents and link them to the menu.

Is there a way to create a new menu and add my specific links to it, the links I do not want appear in the main menu? Its very common in Joomla, can we do something similar here?

So I can have multiple menus or at least two menus and I can add some of my documents to the top menu and some of the to my left menu?

    Regards,
    Rajeev

Wayfinder is really useful for this. You can limit the depth of the menu so that Wayfinder would only go one level deep (everything at the root level) by setting &level=`1` (make sure to use backticks i.e. the button next to the 1, NOT single quotes).

To get another sub menu, in a different place, you can then make another call to Wayfinder and choose which document to use as the parent using the &startId=`YourDocumentID` parameter, and then put everything that you wanted on the second menu within that container.

There is more information in the wiki: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/Wayfinder

Also, you can find an extensive list of parameters and templates that will be used for wayfinder in your install in: assets/snippets/wayfinder/wayfinder.documentation.html

      Hope that helps.

I’ll go through it and get back in case I can not implement the same.
