Hi, how do I get it so that people can edit content on the front end?
I want them to be able to add stuff or to edit stuff that is in certain folders. I already put the stuff in folders that are assigned to the user group, and the individual items will have no permissions linked to groups so they show up in the Ditto calls in other spots of the site (I can do that, right?).
So each item is only using so many fields, i.e. 1 item is using 3 fields (price, description, title) and the other is using 4 fields plus publish/unpublish dates.
I know I can use NewsPublisher to allow the client to add the items, but if I wanted them to be able to edit it....??
Thanks!
I saw some stuff about NewsEditor or something, but it was for 9.1.2 or something...

I use the Newsmanager/editor but I had to search through a lot of forum threads before
I got it working with TinyMCE. I love it!!

Then you got the FDM

Then there is a _manager login box_ in the repository that activate quick edit...
FDM Looks like exactly what I want....I’m just a little confused as to the usage to it. I read through the manual, but it didn’t seem to help too much. I’m guessing I’ll prob just work away at it until it all works.
I’m using it with Ditto, and I’m keeping everything organized in various folders. I can make the folders unpublished and their children will still show up, right? Or can I lock the folders and have children automatically unlocked?
Thanks in advance

@mrhaw, thanks for the link to the howto catalogue. Between that and the manual, I should be able to figure it all out.
