    Hi all,

    after build and test my site locally, I move it obviously on my server; I follow all the steps listed in http://modxcms.com/moving-sites-to-new-servers.html.

    Well, on the frontend everything works fine, but when I tried the launch the manager, the system screams to me:
    Warning: include_once(quotes_stripper.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 90
    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'quotes_stripper.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/var/www/web122/html/manager') in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 90
    Warning: include_once(config.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 127
    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'config.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/var/www/web122/html/manager') in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 127
    Warning: include_once(document.parser.class.inc.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 130
    Warning: include_once() [function.include]: Failed opening 'document.parser.class.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/var/www/web122/html/manager') in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 130
    Fatal error: Class 'DocumentParser' not found in /var/www/web122/html/manager/index.php on line 131

    I try to made a lot of searches around the forum, but no one of the solutions have helped me.

    I cleared the cache before uploading.
    All .htaccess seems right.

    My conf:

    • Modx 0.9.6.3
    • Parallels Confixx
    • Apache
    • PHP 5.2.8
    • safe_mode on
    • register_globals on
    • mod_rewrite on
    • PHP iso-8859-1 on
    • MySQL client version: 5.0.70
    • no tables over 1Mb

    No working on FF3, safari, opera on mac and ie6, ie7, ie8, ff3 on xp sp3.

    Thank You!

      Run the upgrade installer w/o installing demo site/snippets/plugins and also turn register_globals off if you
      want a MUCH more secured web site.

        Looks to me like you are missing some files (or they got corrupted in an FTP upload session) that the manager needs to function. Try reuploading the manager/ directory contents and if that doesn’t work, make sure the permissions on those files is correct for your configuration.

          Thanks a lot for the suggestions!
          What is the right permission for manager folder? 666?

            Folders would probably be odd-number permissions, files are typically even numbers. For full write access, it depends on your environment but for folders that’d likely be either 777 or 755 (with this one being the preferred secure route). For files full write comes from either 666 or 644 (ditto).

                The only other thing it could be is your PHP config has the ability to change the include_path at runtime disabled. Unfortunately, the current releases of MODx require this change, though I believe some workarounds have been described in other threads here in the forums. You might check this thread.

                  Fine,
                  now all works good!
                  With the smart support of InfinityTech we resolve the problem: they force the include of html/manager/includes and html/manager.

                  Thanks to all for the great support!
