Hi,
to display the summary placeholder in your tpl, you have to use ditto extenders
=>http://ditto.modxcms.com/extenders.html
add to you ditto call &extenders=`summary`
:-)
am i suppose to replace "&extenders" with something?
However in is only showing 1 line of text in my first article, 2 lines in second article and 3 in third article.. wierdThat is weird! Could there be something in the formatting of the content that is being summarized? Check the HTML output for broken image tags something that is ’invading’ the content. I don’t remember if the summary included tags html tags or not.
Try putting a space before every & in the Ditto call.
Another thing to try is to explicitly set the truncation point in the Ditto call.
Try taking &summarize=`5` out and replacing it with
&total=`5`
AFAIK, Ditto 2.x has no summarize parameter.
