I came to modx in 2006 looking for a replacement for hacked wordpress and Mambo systems. I hated the amount of problems extending WP as a CMS and templates required way too many functions in them to be efficient. Mambo and Joomla were also painful filled with esoteric nomenclature and more clicks than a pen factory quality control room.

What endeared me to modx was the power and well thought out workflows (and in Revolution 2.0x any workflow you want.) what keeps me here is one of the most friendly, helpful and responsive communities around. No other CMS (save for maybe ExpressionEngine) can boast such a user base.

It is for this reason I now champion the modx CMS on the web and around the world.

SO agent007, welcome and feel free to ask questions--we love to answer them and there are no noob haters allowed. We are all noobs at something.
