Hi all. I’ve looked all over the documentation and forums and can’t find a guide to moving a Modx install from a subfolder (mysite.com/modx) to the root. (The only guide I can find in the wiki is moving from local production to a live server, which isn’t helping out right now.) Is it just a matter of messing with htaccess, and if so, can anyone provide the steps to getting started?

Running Modx 0.9.6.1p2, Mysql 4.1, and phpMyAdmin 3.1.1.

      - Clear the cache in manager
      - Copy the files to new directory
      - Change RewriteBase in htaccess if using FURL.
      - Change file paths:
Log in to the Manager area of MODx, go to Tools >> Configuration >> File Manager and for "File Manager Path:", change the path to the new directory.  Also click on the "Interface and Features" tab next to the "File Manager" tab and for "Resource Path", change the path there as well.

      - If problems run modx installer (without installing anything that overwrite your files).

      AND ALWAYS TAKE BACK-UP BEFORE...

      ---EDIT---
//I have only moved a 0.9.6.1p2 install before - where you could edit the whole path for resource path and url.
With newer versions it seems as you will have to run the installer (upload the install folder) and NOT install anything that overwrite your files.
