FCKeditor stops uploads at 50%

Hello,

i have a ressources folder in site root directory with permissions at 777.

When I try to upload a file, it always stops at 50%.

The path  is set to "/home/user/www/ressources/
The ressources url is set to "ressources/"

Does anyone experience the same problem ?

I tried this, but... not working
http://www.tipandtrick.net/2008/upload-feature-inhibited-error-when-adding-files-or-images-in-modx/

Whenever I’ve seen it stop at 50% it’s been a path issue.
Check the full path in the FCK browser bar.

Here is the adress in the FCKE bar

Shouldn’t the ServPath be set to ressources/ or assets or something like that ?

The FCK path looks right if MODx is installed in the root.
My resource path on one LAMP server is :

On another :

And on a Windows box :

You don’t seem to have any reference to the domain in yours, unless ressources is it?
In which case you probably need assets/ adding to the end

Thanks for your answers.

Afters some tries i can’t make it work.

Is there an alternative method for uploading a file from the frontend ?

I recently had the same problem (still unsolved). The path settings were correct.

For information, i have dedicated server running with gentoo. If I find further stuff about that issue i’ll post there.

Thanks but is it possible to use FileUpload snippet instead of FCKEditor with QuickEdit and in the manager ?

Not only for building upload forms.

After réinstalling modx files, it works.
