FeedX: "ERROR RETRIEVING FEED"

I’m trying to use FeedX to incorporate this feed into my site: http://www.snipplr.com/rss/users/DaveChild

Unfortunately, I get an error - "ERROR RETRIEVING FEED" - and nothing displays. I’ve got FeedX working just fine with another feed, on the same page (and I get the same error on that page with or without the other feed - I added the second feed just to check if another would work). There are no characters that I can see that should be encoded, and the feed loads fine in all other systems I can test it with (bloglines, vanilla php etc). The headers are all correct, I think (application/xml, 200 etc).

Anyone have any idea why FeedX dislikes this? Is there somewhere I can get more information about the error?

I’m running mod_php on Apache with MySQL, ModX 0.9.6.3, FeedX 0.1.2.
