Hi!
i would like to know that as well...
i read in another thread that this could be fixed by setting "forced_root_block" to false in assets/plugins/tinymce3101/jscripts/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js, but this was for an old MODx version, in 9.6.3 i couldn’t find the right part to set it either to true or false...
cheers, j
I would change the template if possible
use
[*content*]
{{chunk}}
instead of using the chunk in the content texarea
So maybe...
tinyMCE.init({
forced_root_block : false,
force_br_newlines : true,
force_p_newlines : false
});
http://wiki.moxiecode.com/index.php/TinyMCE:FAQ#Why_doesn.27t_TinyMCE_produce_BR_elements_on_enter.2Freturn_instead_of_P_elements.3F
...into assets/plugins/tinymce3201/jscripts/tiny_mce/
tiny_mce_src.js EDITED
Or use the optional field inside plugin option for tinymce!?
forced_root_block : false,force_br_newlines : true,force_p_newlines : false
Ive just tried to insert this code
tinyMCE.init({
forced_root_block : false,
force_br_newlines : true,
force_p_newlines : false
});
into the javascript but its having no effect.
Can anyone tell me where I’d have to put this or where Im going wrong?.
Problem is; Everytime I change an Image within a chunk TinyMCE automatically inserts paragraph tags either side of it, As this is to be used by clients I cant/shouldnt have to tell them how to remove the <p> tags everytime they want to change an image.
