Pretty new to Modx and have to say looks great....

Dropped the install on to local Xampp server, but having problems with it defaulting to port 85 ie http://localhost:85/ as the base address.  I have got it working by changing port in Xampp/Apache http.conf file ie listen port 85 ....but I don’t like the mystery. I have confirmed port 80 is free...

I am sure that this is something really basic and wondered if anyone could throw me a bone....

PS Not messed with Friendly URLs yet

Whats your $_SERVER[’SERVER_PORT’] from /manager/includes/config.inc.php line 42, it looks as though this is set to 85 for some reason
Use MODx, or the cat gets it!

Yes, you’ll get to like MODx, I seem to remember now something about XAMPP and port 85 from the past, but no matter, glad its fixed.
