    Hi All,

I am using weblogin on a client site and they have asked for some extra features, done the normal searching but haven’t come across anything so thought I would ask.

Basicley, when a user registeres they dont want them to have access to the documents untill they have OK’d them manually.

next they want to be notified by email when a new user registeres or when someone updates their profile.

Are any of the above possible with webLogin ??

    thanks

I think WebLoginPE may be more what you’re looking after - I know that has approval-based management of web users. Haven’t used it much beyond that so can’t really comment on whether you could hook into the profile updates but it’ll definitely be a better starting point than the plain ’ole WebLogin.

Maybe someone with more experience of WebLoginPE can comment further ...

Weblogin : with a bit of customisation it is possible to block the user on registration and BCC the site admin the signup email.
There is no user editable profile though.
WebloginPE : register type of verify and specifying an email address with the &notify parameter shouldl meet your needs.
Should be fairly easy to add the send email to site admin when someone updates their profile functionality to the existing code.
