Automatic display of mails

In my website I have very news and I went that the expiration date of new to come on the limit should be display automatic mail that the date of the new had to expired.
But I want that don’t be necessary run any code
It is possible to do?

This is what I understood: You want to receive an e-mail warning when a news item is about to expire (be un-published). Is this correct?

You will need to do some coding to do this either as a plugin or a snippet (or a stand alone script). If you want to receive a notification when a document is published/unpublished you can do this with a plugin and use the publishing event as a trigger.
