I have a website that has already been built out in MODx. I now need to add a sister site which is going to be much smaller. This new site will have a distinctive URL from the first site, and I was hoping I could add it along with all it’s assets to the same MODx installation.
Is this possible? I haven’t found any threads on this topic.

I may be wrong but I don’t think multiple sites is possible with the current Modx version, although im sure it is a feature of Revelution when it is released

Yeah, I don’t think you want to try to have two sites on one install. You can copy all of the assets and the database, then the two sites will go their separate ways. You could also write a couple Snippets that could go select data from the other site and return it... read-only type of stuff would be safe to do, for example.
Another idea would be to put all shared resources in one directory or in a separate database and have both sites pull from that.
