Hmm.... have you tried taking the sql dump and other files and installing them on a different server? Does that replicate the problem?

I’d have to try running your bash script to see how it works for one of my sites. Have you tried it on a separate machine and a separate MODx install?

Take a look at manager/actions/refresh_site.dynamic.php and manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php These are the functions (that I know of) that will resync the cache.

Again, I am just shooting in the dark here and could be sending you in the wrong direction. To see if it is the cache, clear the cache immediately (before any document editing) after going from staging->live and see if a document that should be published but was not showing suddenly appears. If it does, then it is the cache.

      dev_cw:

On my staging environment I first cleared the cache, then created a new document with a future publish date. I then promoted to the production environment and immediately i see the new document on production in an un-published sate, with the publish-date in tact. Once the publish-date arrives, the page becomes published in my stg environment, but not on my production environment. Is there a way to manually invoke the aforementioned code; manager/actions/refresh_site.dynamic.php and manager/processors/cache_sync.class.processor.php?

The installer invokes them at the end of the process so it may be a place to start. This step is located in the instprocessor.php file in the install folder.

There is a post that discusses and provides a method for going from staging to production, maybe it can help:

I'm aware this is an old thread but I've experimented this problem along all Revo revisions.
          Any update on this topic?
          Thanks in advance smiley
