I have followed the instructions on how to set up a basic RSS feed for articles in my Articles folder but when I open the feed page either directly or from a link on another page, I get the following error:

    -------------------
An invalid character was found in text content.
    Line: 42 Character: 19

    <title>You Can

    -------------------
I am using ModX 0.9.6.2 and my Ditto call is: [[Ditto? &startID=`3` &format=`rss`]]

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

Is the document using a ’blank’ template? Usually this is the problem.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes, the template is set to (blank). Other page settings are text/xml, Container OFF, Rich Text OFF, Searchable OFF, and Cacheable OFF.

I think I found the problem though. The container folder I am trying to get an XML feed from is a weblink which forwards to one of the pages within the container. When I change the &startID to a container document that is not a weblink the feed works properly. It would be great if I could use weblinks with this RSS feed since most of my site is set up that way . ... but if it doesn’t work I’ll have to reorganize.
