    grin

    Hi all.

I’m looking for a script that displays 3 different random images at the same time. Like this:

[first image set] <--- contains 6 images to be displayed random.
    -------------------------
[second image set] <--- contains 2 images to be displayed random.
    -------------------------
[third image set] <--- contains 5 images to be displayed random.

It is not need to slideshow them but I do like to have IF POSSIBLE each image linked to a full-size version of the particulair image showed with lightbox.

I’ve read it’s possible to do this which MaxiGallery but I don’t know where to start. I got MaxiGallery working on some other sites but never seen anything about random images.

    Thnx in advance!

You can use &order_by=`random` in maxigallery.

First hit on google for maxigallery random: http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/MaxiGallery ;-)

          Thnx for you solution.

Anyway this won’t work for me after all, since I found out it’s not possible to use this call twice on a page:
          [[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_in_a_row=`3` &lang=`nl` &max_thumb_size=`150` &max_pic_size=`850` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`0`]]

When I use that call on the Gallery page it works
When I use that call on the right side of my page (where random images are displayed) it works
When I use that call on the Gallery page AND the right side and visit the gallery page it gets screwed up so I’m only using MaxiGallery on the gallery page now smiley

I found a snippet in another thread which displays it. Although it doesn’t have a manager and should be edited by hand it does the job smiley
