503 and/or blank manager after migration

Good day, I am moving a site from one server to another. I have followed https://docs.modx.com/revolution/2.x/administering-your-site/moving-your-site-to-a-new-server to a tee and still nothing. The wordpress blog migrates perfectly but no matter what I do on the modx portion it either gives a 503 (site temporary down)or if I try a fresh install, dump db and add the old db I get a blank manager. I also cannot click on the third advanced option in setup. I have the site pointed back to the other server in the mean time.

Did you run setup after moving things? That will usually straighten out the paths.

Some other things to try:

Make sure the PHP version at the new host is at least 5.6.

Check the paths and URLs in the core/config/config.inc.php file, and the DB credentials there.

Check the paths in the three config.core.php files in the root, manager, and connectors directories.

Make sure the DB user has full rights and that the name of the DB and the user are correct (they're not necessarily what you entered when creating them, -- some hosts will add a prefix).

Check the MODX error log: core/cache/logs/error.log

The server's error log is another place to look.

Another thing to try is firing up Chrome Dev. Tools (Ctrl-shift-i) and watching the Network tab.

I also created this path with the correct folders and files /home/letsjamarketing/public_html/core/components/collections/model/

Normally, a localhost path will have a drive designation, like C:/home/letsjamarketing...

Do the paths in config.inc.php have one?

If you have multiple contexts, you may have hard-coded path and URL context settings that need to be corrected.

They probably should for a localhost install, assuming that your operating system has them. I've had to use full, hard-coded paths in some localhost installs.
